Inspired by hype culture, the capsule explores the ever hungry impulse to consume more and more. And just one more. It focuses on the emotional experience of shopping.
There can be deep love for material objects. But what happens when we expect too much from them? When we “add to bag” to fill a void it echoes the emptiness we try so hard to conceal with a hoodie or an iPhone case.
There is a fine line between obsession and addiction. And that is where the capsule lies, inviting you to stop at the souvenir shop on your way out of the Shopping Addiction Treatment Center, hoping to see you again soon.
