Collaborations, pop-ups, and special projects
- Own marketing workstreams for collaborations and partner launches
- Coordinate deliverables, approvals, and readiness across teams and external partners
- Maintain and update brand decks and marketing materials, managing execution with designers

Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in eCommerce or digital marketing, ideally in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle DTC
- Proven ability to manage campaign calendars and cross-functional execution
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, Google Analytics, and Meta Ads Manager
- Highly organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented with a strong aesthetic sensibility
- Analytical but brand-aware. You can zoom into data and zoom out to vision
Overview
Urban Sophistication is looking for an Operations Manager to own end-to-end operations across inventory planning, production, and fulfillment.
This is a high-impact role at the core of the business - responsible for ensuring the right products are produced, delivered, and available at the right time across drops, markets, and channels. You will drive decisions that directly impact revenue, cash flow, and customer experience.
You will oversee the full lifecycle: from forecasting demand and placing production orders, to managing supplier timelines, coordinating with 3PLs, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment globally.
We’re a small, fast-moving team with a global footprint across the US, Japan, and Korea.
Beyond owning systems and execution, this role is also responsible for managing the operations team internally and keeping timelines, teams, and external partners aligned.
What You'll Own
Inventory Planning & Forecasting
• Forecast demand across SKUs, colors, and product drops
• Define order quantities and replenishment strategies
• Monitor sell-through rates and adjust forecasts based on real performance
• Prevent stockouts and overstock through proactive, data-driven planning
Production & Timeline Management
• Translate demand plans into production timelines and ensure execution with factories and suppliers
• Track production progress, flag risks early, and resolve delays
• Align production schedules with launch and marketing calendars
• Maintain daily communication with production partners to ensure all deadlines are met and products meet our quality standards
Operations & Fulfillment
• Oversee order flow, 3PL coordination, and fulfillment execution across markets
• Manage inbound shipments, receiving accuracy, and inventory reconciliation
• Maintain visibility on PO commitments and payment timing relative to cash flow - flagging exposure before it becomes a problem
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements
Customer Care - Operational Oversight
• Own the operational layer of customer care - shipping issues, exchanges, product defects - and fix root causes, not just symptoms
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with marketing on upcoming drops and expected demand signals
• Align with e-commerce on product launches and site inventory readiness
• Proactively surface inventory risks and opportunities to leadership
What We're Looking For
• 3–6 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or inventory planning at a DTC or consumer brand
• Proven ability to manage vendor and factory relationships independently
• Hands-on experience with 3PL operations and international freight
• Strong analytical skills - you turn data into clear decisions, not just reports
• Experience with Shopify and inventory planning tools
• Able to operate with incomplete information and still make clear, accountable decisions
• Comfortable owning outcomes in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
• Strong written English for async communication with global teams
Bonus
• Experience across US and Asia markets
• Background in fashion or accessories.
• Familiarity with wholesale fulfillment alongside DTC
How We Measure You
• Quality and speed of inventory decisions across SKUs and markets
• Inventory accuracy and availability across key SKUs
• Reduced stockouts and excess inventory
• On-time production and launch execution
Why This Role
This role sits at the center of the business. You will directly influence how we scale, how we launch, and how we serve our customers. You'll have a direct line to founders, full ownership of your function, and immediate visibility on everything you build.
