4. International Orders — Duties, Taxes & Customs

For orders delivered across borders, import duties, customs fees and local taxes are the customer’s responsibility unless checkout states otherwise. Urban Sophistication does not control customs processes or third-party charges.

Third-party duties, customs fees and taxes are non-refundable by Urban Sophistication for ordinary returns. Any third-party customs refund for a defective or incorrect item must be requested from the carrier or relevant authority. Refused or unclaimed shipments retain the standard return conditions; original shipping and third-party charges are not refunded.

Orders placed through the Japan market and shipped domestically do not incur import duties or customs-clearance charges. Displayed product prices include applicable Japanese consumption tax.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply, those laws take precedence to the extent required.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severable and shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
